Epiphany Kids
The heart of Epiphany Kids is to awaken wonder, cultivate wholeness, and make space for God’s love to be felt, so that eyes and hearts are opened in the lives of children and their families.
In a world that often hurries past the smallest voices, we return to the pattern of Jesus, who slowed down and saw children—not as distractions, but as guides into the very heart of the Gospel. Children are capable of profound insight. They, too, have epiphanies: moments of sudden clarity, of grace, of knowing they are seen, known, and deeply loved.
We believe that children are not merely the future of the Church, but present and vital participants in the unfolding mystery of God’s Kingdom—here and now.
Parenting in the city can feel like an act of survival—isolating, exhausting, and relentless. In the rhythm of gathering together, our longing is to create space for parents to receive rest and renewal, trusting that their children are being formed by love, not just cared for. This is not childcare. This is spiritual formation. This is sacred ground.
Epiphany Kids is about partnership. We walk alongside families as children are not only introduced to Christ but to an embedded life in our neighborhoods. Our dream is to see families rooted deeply in this city—thriving, not just surviving—because they have a community that honors their children as full image-bearers of God.
In every story, in every question, in every playful moment, we trust that God is already at work in our children. Our task is not to control that work, but to pay attention—to make space for the way God’s Spirit is already showing up.
On Sundays
During the Sunday gathering, the children participate in an age-appropriate Biblical lesson, crafts and activities, a snack time (allergies are considered) and a time to play with other children. To best serve the children and parents all teachers and leaders undergo a detailed application process including a personal background check, ongoing training and monitored policies and procedures. No individual other than parents (while dropping off, picking up or attending to their children) and approved MD Kids workers are permitted in the classrooms.
