The Holiday Store
You can help bring true joy to local children and their families through the Holiday Store. The Holidays are a special time for families to create cherished memories and exchange gifts. However, not everyone can afford the gift-giving experience. Through partnerships with CPS schools, the Holiday Store connects with neighbors by providing a dignified way to purchase gifts for loved ones at a fraction of the cost. Items like Lego sets, crafts, games, and tech toys are available at 90 percent off retail. Donors, volunteers, and community partners make this possible.
At its heart, this is about more than presents. It is about parents and caregivers being able to give something meaningful to their children. Ultimately, we wanted to convene a space so neighbors can care for neighbors. If you would like to help donate a gift, you can do so below. We aim to provide $80 in value per child and serve 250-300 children. With a $10,000 matching grant, you can serve twice as many children with a Holiday gift to a Chicago family in need.
